Jeeping in Moab - 2022

This was our first trip to Moab, UT with plans for Jeeping, exploring National Parks in the area, and enjoying the landscape. Moab, National Parks and Utah in general did not disappoint. Both of us had ample opportunity to drive the Jeep. Jeeping or off-roading or rock crawling is something that we’ve always wanted to do.

We booked the Jeep tour with Outlaw Jeep Adventures in Moab. They were simply fantastic throughout the entire process. We arrived for a morning departure not fully understanding all of the details and what the experience would be like. They hooked us up with a brand new Jeep which was incredible. This was our first experience driving any Jeep vehicle and this one was fully loaded and amazing. We were a bit concerned that we could possibly end up in a beat up older Jeep. First anxieties eliminated. Our guide’s name was Dan, an experienced off-roader and a wonderful person. It was just him in his Jeep and us in our Jeep. The possibility of a group had been on our minds so that anxiety was eliminated. There’s a pattern here with our worries being quickly eliminated. Dan provided detailed instructions on the operation of the Jeep and what we could expect prior to departure. We had radios for communication. He guided us through the “Fins & Things” trail in Moab. This was truly an experience of a lifetime for us and far exceeded any expectations we may have had.
